According to the RTI, the Bullet Train project will cost Rs 1 lakh crore as it is operating in loss-making.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dream project, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad rout Bullet Train project, has been implemented with the help of Japan's government.

In the meanwhile, the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route has been reported to be 40 per cent loss.

In this regard, the famous RTI activist Anil Galgali has raised the question to RTI. He has now released the information provided by RTI.

Of these, 44 per cent of Mumbai-Ahmedabad passenger trains are vacant in West Railway.

In addition, the Western Railway losses on this rout is nearly Rs.10 crore.

The Central Government has invested Rs 1 lakh crore for the bullet train project without exploring it in a loss-making route.

Thus, the bullet train project will be a huge failure and the taxpayers' tax is estimated to be around Rs 1 lakh crore.
