The information has been reported as Prime Minister Modi has planned to announce a new plan in January to promote cashless transactions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced demonetisation of Rs.1000 and Rs.500 notes on the same day last year.

It was said to eliminate black money and encourage cashless transactions.

Subsequently, the Central Government has taken various steps to promote cashless transactions.

In the meantime, the government has decided to introduce a new scheme in January to promote cashless transactions.

The Central Government has set up a committee under the supervision of the Information Technology Ministry to divide this project. It has been decided to announce special offers if they make an electronic transaction.

The main reason for this is that the 933 crore cashless transactions took place between November and September last year, resulting in around Rs.12 lakh crore electronic transactions, according to the Reserve Bank of India.
