The Fourth Generation (4G) Internet service is currently in Indian telecom industry.

In the next phase, the Central Government is engaged in early steps to provide the 5th generation internet service.

Telecom Regulatory Committee's high level consultation committee was set up in last september. The committee's consultative meeting will be held tomorrow.

The advisory committee consists of 22 people, including the country's largest telecom operators Reliance JIO and Airtel.

Telecommunication department secretary Aruna Sundararajan has made the assessment and technical work for this fifth generation service.

With this will get 10 GB of internet speed per second. The telecoms department has set a target to bring this service to 2020.
