The wife and mother of Kulbhushan Jadhav have reached Pakistan to meet him at the Foreign Affairs Ministry in Islamabad. 

Reports said Jadhav's wife and mother arrived in Islamabad via Dubai. 

They are accompanied by Indian Deputy High Commissioner JP Singh. Reports said, they will be returning to India tonight via Oman after the meeting takes place. 

According to Pakistan's foreign office sources, in addition to the Indian envoy, a couple of Foreign Office officials will also be present during the meeting, which could last from 15 minutes to one hour.

Jadhav is in a Pakistani jail facing death sentence on charges of espionage. India had approached the International Court of Justice against his execution which was later halted by ICJ pending the final verdict. 

Our correspondent reports that Pakistan has repeatedly denied India consular access to Jadhav. 

New Delhi has been maintaining that Jadhav, a retired Navy officer, was kidnapped from Iran where he had some business interest.
